I wrote, designed and built this website (see link below)
for the Dundee University Film Society back in 1999 - one of my "first
generation" websites! My essay on 'The Godfather' film originally appeared
in a programme booklet (PDF, 6.2 MB) that the society published for one of their events. The
joke on the opening page of the website is not mine - mind you, I did at least
have the courtesy to change the joke's registration plates before publishing
the site.
What
is the difference between a Mafia godfather and a postmodernist?
To mark
special occasions, such as a friend's recent-ish 40th birthday, I sometimes
combine a short Flash movie with a rather imaginative database query from a
