The
National Library of Scotland
During my time working as a Web Content Writer for the National
Library of Scotland (NLS), I wrote and edited content and metadata for about
twenty digitisation projects. This content has been published on two cultural
and educational websites:
In
short, the job consisted of looking at digitised images in the library's archive,
researching the image, and then writing original copy for the image. After
writing the copy and metadata, I then entered all the content into a Content
Management System - which took the form of a massive online database. Listed
below are web links for three of the projects that I worked on:
If required,
I can easily supply print-outs of web pages that I wrote for the National Library
of Scotland.
